“Our simple desire is to continue for as long possible the traditional production of Tuscan olive oil.”
Verde Argento
Feeling like home
When Alessandro Fiorani, a native of Rome, first walked through the Magliano in Toscana countryside, he also walked into unforgettable childhood memories of family times in Tuscany.
Enchanted by the exceptional purity of a place where nature’s wild beauty is touched only by the sun and wind, and enthralled by the opportunity to continue the long-standing tradition of Tuscan olive oil production, Alessandro Fiorani and his Belgian wife Anne Marievoet launched the Verde Argento Company in 2023. The 20 hectare domain includes almost 1000 mature olive trees, with additional land in the neighbouring commune of Pereta that includes more olive trees, vineyards and chestnut trees.
Verde Argento
Authenticity, passion and respect
Verde Argento benefits from owners of diverse backgrounds: Anne has a career in marketing and advertising in Brussels and Paris, while Alessandro, a chemical engineer, has worked in the energy commodity business across Italy, Belgium, France and Switzerland.
Their shared experience, combined with their genuine respect of nature and its benefits, drives their passion and understanding, which they now bring to the production and marketing of Verde Argento olive oil.
Magliano in Toscana,
nature's magic
Tuscany has a long-standing history of embracing nature’s extraordinary work to provide products of true excellence. Verde Argento is located in Magliano in Toscana, Grosseto province – the heart of Tuscany’s olive growing region. It is a land forever reserved to olive groves, first farmed by the Etruscans and then by the Romans, who initially used the olive oil not for food, but as fuel for torches and lamps. Since those times, the story and use of Magliano olive oil has evolved, with a reputation today as one of Tuscany’s most discerning and important products.
In the month of October, illuminated by the late Summer sun, Magliano’s nature bears its finest fruits. It is at this time that Verde Argento start the annual harvest of the world’s highest quality olives to produce exceptional olive oils.
As custodians of some of Tuscany’s oldest olive groves, Verde Argento is proud to be part of the regions rich and unique history.
Passionate and committed, we feel privileged to continue tradition, enhancing it where we can, while helping to share a taste of Magliano’s magic with you.
